The National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Prince Uche Secondus has described the late former Minster of Finance, Mallam Adamu Ciroma as a privileged servant leader.
Prince said in a condolence letter he addressed to the former Woman Leader of the PDP and wife of the deceased, Hajia Inna Ciroma that his death is a huge loss to the PDP and Nigeria.
According to a statement from the National Chairman's Media Office and signed by his Media Adviser, Ike Abonyi, Prince Secondus said Mallam Ciroma would be remembered for his unbiased and principled counsel to younger generation of politicians. He was passionate about Nigeria.
"Even though he lived to a ripe age of 83 years, whenever death comes its always a painful experience, more so when it happens with a beloved and utility figure as he was in our polity.
"Mallam lived an exemplary quality life and left legacies that should be a huge consolation for his biological and political families. The good life Mallam Ciroma lived while on earth may grant him the golden key that opens the palace of eternity.
"He represented a perfect example of quality and substance. It's my prayer that the great legacies he left behind especially her generosity and her glorious adventure in politics and service to humanity should be cherished and sustained by you and the other children left behind.
Finally, Prince Secondus prayed God to grant his soul eternal rest and the entire Ciroma family the fortitude and grace to accept his will.
Prince Secondus had on Friday led members of the National Working Committee, NWC, and other leaders of the party to the Maitama, Abuja home of the late politician where they condoled with the family.
