The National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Prince Uche Secondus has charged members of the party across the country that Nigerians are looking up to them to halt the disastrous slide in the state of the nation.

Prince Secondus who spoke at an emergency meeting of the party's 80th National Executive Committee, NEC, told the party leaders to join other democrats to save Nigeria as she heads to disaster under the watch of All Progressives Congress, APC, administration.

According to a statement from his media office signed by media Adviser, Ike Abonyi, Prince Secondus said that the situation in the country demands that all hands must be on deck to see off the incompetent APC regime.

"The situation in the country demands that all people of goodwill must join hands to legally see out this competent APC government.

"In our wildest imagination, none of us thought that Nigeria could deteriorate to the level it is today

He said that the monkeys and baboons as predicted by the APC have truly been soaked in blood as life is  no longer worth anything with rivers of blood a constant spectacle.

Prince Secondus said that Nigerians and the international community have remained in shock the lack of political will of the administration to rein in the killer herdsmen.

On the July 14 governorship election in Ekiti State, the National Chairman told the leaders that "what happened in Ekiti was disgraceful, a sham and a mockery of democracy"

But he assured the party members across the country and in Diaspora that the party has enough evidence to reclaim its mandate at the tribunal.

He said that the Independent National Electoral Commission INEC and security agencies threw decency and fairness  over board openly tear gassing, intimidating and arresting PDP agents while providing cover for APC thugs to wreck their planned havoc.

"Even national and international  observers who voiced out their genuine observations were harassed by security agents and their offices ransacked for speaking the truth"

The emergency NEC meeting of the party was called to brief leaders of the party on the developments in the party as it relates to the alliance entered into by the party.
