KATSINA STATE GOVT BEGINS RECRUITMENT OF 5,000 PRIMARY TEACHERS.




Katsina State Government has began the recruitment of 5,000 primary school teachers.             
The recruitment will be based on merit, devoid of sentiment and political affiliation.

A statement signed by the DG Media & Publicty, Ibrahim M. Abdullah, stated that the Chairman of the recruitment committee, Mustapha Inuwa, while monitoring the screening exercise in the state, yesterday, gave the assurance that every applicant for the job would be treated equally.

Inuwa, who is also the Secretary to the Katsina State Government, SSG, said: “The Katsina State S-Power Committee has begun the screening of 5000 candidates to be enrolled as primary school teachers.


The exercise is being conducted in 12 centres established by the main committee of the S-Power Programme.


“We assure that all applicants would be treated equally irrespective of any affiliation. Let us also emphasize here that the S-Power programme would only recruit on merit"


“The screening exercise is meant to get those who are qualified to teach in primary schools.”
