As part of activities marking the third anniversary of his administration, Governor Udom Emmanuel of Akwa Ibom State, Friday, 18th May, 2018, traversed several locations to commission certain completed road projects.

The roads are, Wellington Bassey Way Axis ; Asutan Street, Ebong Street, Ebong Lane, Mbiakong Street, Bassey Attah Street and Efiong Udo Akpan Street.

Udotung Ubo Axis ; Udotung Ubo Lane, Ibiono Lane and Akparen Street.

Shelter Afrique Axis ; Prof. Offiong Street and Justice Edet Nkop Street.

Still counting , the administration has so far executed over 30 road projects within the Uyo Metropolis.

Sokoto 2021 Budget Will Be One of Consolidation, Finance Commissioner

Abdussamad Dasuki, has assured that it would be one of fortification against the vagaries of economic meltdown occasioned by the COVID-19 pandemic and other natural factors. Dasuki who was among the commissioners that briefed journalists after a three day marathon meeting of the State Executive Council on the adaptation of the 2021 budget and other fiscal probity bills that the council has passed and will submit to the State House of Assembly (SOHA) to pass it into law. Governor Kayode Fayemi, in just about one year in Office, has been awarded best performing Governor in the country in key areas of Women Rights and social development. The award was conferred by the Honourable Minister, Federal Ministry of Women Affairs and Social Development, Dame Pauline K. Tallen, OFR.
