The Katsina State Governor, Rt. Hon. Aminu Bello Masari Wednesday swore in two newly-appointed Permanent Secretaries into the Katsina State Civil Service. The event took place at the Muhammadu Buhari House, the seat of Katsina State Government.

Katsina Media and Publicity reports that the newly-sworn in permanent secretaries are Mal. Muntari Danladi, who hails from Funtua Local Government Area, and Garba Ahmed ‘Yantumaki, who hails from Dan Musa LGA.

Muntari, was a retired civil servant but was recalled based on the good recommendations of his co-workers at his immediate past places of assignment. Masari who was reacting to his reinstatement said “I could not remember seeing his face anywhere" adding, “we do this to encourage those that are still at the service of the state”.          Adding further, he said, “We are not being sentimental on any appointment, rather we are being objective, because ours is to deliver service to the people of Katsina State irrespective of who you are.”

@Katgovmedia reports that Masari congratulated the duo and urged them to take the appointment as a continuation of their careers, stressing that the essence is to make Katsina a greater state through effective service delivery.
