Rivers APC Hails Chief Dumo Lulu-Briggs At 54

The Rivers State Chapter of All Progressives Congress, APC, salutes one of its leading lights, quintessential and consummate gentleman, Chief. Barr. Dumo Lulu-Briggs as he clocks the age of 54.
A statement signed and issued to journalists today by the party’s Spokesman Senibo Chris Finebone said: “Rivers APC is pleased with Dumo’s uncommon humility, generosity and compassion for all. Indeed, Chief Dumo Lulu-Briggs is an exceptional team player with exceeding patience, friendly mien, character and listening ear to everyone that crosses his path.”
The APC wished Chief Dumo Lulu-Briggs a very happy birthday and many happy returns.
“You have been a role model and an example of selfless giving to this generation and we are proud to hold you as someone worthy of emulation” Senibo Finebone remarked.

GOs Protest Fraudulent Election Results in Bayelsa

Posted By Tony Okechukwu Members of various non-governmental organisations and civil society groups in Bayelsa State, on Wednesday, staged a peaceful protest over the conduct of the Presidential and National Assembly elections in some parts of the state. Comrade Toitoi Newton of the Grassroots For Development, who led the protest to the Independent National Electoral Commission office in Yenagoa, told journalists that the CSOs demand a cancellation of the purported results from Constituency 4 in Southern Ijaw council and Nembe-Bassambiri in Nembe council where election materials were carted away. According to Comrade Newton, elections did not hold in the seven wards of Nembe-Bassambiri due to the violence orchestrated by political thugs aided by security personnel deployed in the community.
