Bye-Election: PDP Candidate Wins Oyo State Ibarapa East Constituency Seat

Ibarapa East State Constituency Bye-election in Oyo State to pick a replacement for Hon. Michael Adeyemo (APC), the late Speaker of the State House of Assembly was successfully held Saturday. At the end of the exercise, the candidate of the Peoples Demicratic Party (PDP), Adebo Ogudoyin, was declared winner by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC). The 31-year old Babcock University graduate, Ogundoyin coasted home to victory after his party, PDP, gathered 5800 votes with the closest rival the APC, having 3962.
