Nigeria legend Nwankwo Kanu pays a visit to Super Eagles hotel

Ahead of their make or break World Cup showdown versus Iceland, football icon who spent some time with the Super Eagles
African, Nwankwo Kanu, has attempted to raise the spirits of the Super Eagles ahead of Friday’s game versus Iceland.
The team would be hoping to bounce back to winning ways against the World Cup debutants after crumbling 2-0 to Croatia.
The former Arsenal star interacted with Gernot Rohr’s team and happily posed for pictures with them and also some of the fans present to demonstrate his support for the team.
“I came to do my part and bring up the spirit of our team and encourage them at Super Eagles hotel for some morale boosting effect ahead of Iceland game,” he tweeted.
A win for the Super Eagles at the Volgograd Arena, will boost their chances of reaching the knockout phase.
Kanu featured for Nigeria at the 1998, 2002 and the 2010 editions of the Fifa World Cups before drawing the curtain on his glittering career.
