GOMBE STATE GOVERNOR APPOINTS NEW CHIEF OF STAFF, FOUR OTHERS

Gov. Inuwa Yahaya, Wednesday, approved the appointment of Abubakar Inuwa Kari as the new Chief of Staff.

Until his appointment, Kari was the Director of Organization at the National Secretariat of All Progressive Congress, APC.

He replaced Muhammad Kabir Kukan Daka who was appointed by President Muhammadu Buhari to represent the State at the Revenue Mobilization, Allocation and Fiscal Commission.

The Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Media and Publicity in a statement, said his boss also appointed three persons as Special Assistants and Zonal Liaisons for the three senatorial districts of the State.

They are Adamu Abdullahi Masad Biri (Gombe North), Ahmad Babaiya Kombani (Gombe Central), and Abdullahi Idris Maitama Billiri (Gombe South).

Also, Umar Chiroma Abdulsalam was appointed as the Administrator of Gombe State Transport Service (Gombe Line).

All appointments are with immediate effect.
