The siege Godwin Obaseki declared in Edo state with his dictatorship has worsened with the alleged abduction of Victor Edoro, attack Seid Oshiomhole and other members-elect at Golden Tulip hotel in Benin.

The elected lawmakers were attacked by a team of thugs led by a notorious hoodlum with the name 'Shaba' and Muktari.

These thugs were accompanied by the police and Godwin Obaseki's chief detail.

Report say the thugs in their hundreds, swarm on the hotel, went door-to-door at the hotel, breaking in and demanding the whereabouts of the members-elect who just released a statement denouncing the illegal swearing-in ceremony conducted by Governor Obaseki, Philip Shaibu and Osarodion Ogie.

As at the time of filing this report, the whereabouts of Victor Edoror is unknown, with speculations rife that he may have been abducted.

Seid Oshiomhole, an elected legislator, was reportedly beaten and stripped naked by the thugs while the police watched in connivance.

This attack and the abduction of Victor Edoror is connected to his Speakership ambition.

Evidently, Governor Obaseki has dropped all pretense of sanity and respect for the law with these unending acts of tyranny.

GOs Protest Fraudulent Election Results in Bayelsa
