GOV. OBASEKI'S MIDNIGHT "INAUGURATION " OF EDO STATE HOUSE OF ASSEMBLY

How can a people be so desperate? Inaugurating less than a simple majority of the 24 elected members of Edo State House of Assembly is a crime by the so called Clerk of the House of Assembly and his sponsors against the people of Edo State.
Does Governor Godwin Obaseki need a tutorial to know that decisions in a Democracy are by majority ? Obaseki is governor of Edo State because he was elected by majority of Edo State electorates.The House of Assembly members were equally elected by majority of Edo State electorates.How can a responsible governor be so anti- people by depriving their elected representatives from their Constitutional responsibility ?
I have earlier last week written an article to warn on the dangers of arrogant violation of the Constitution by deliberate refusal of the governor to issue a proclamation order for the inauguration of Edo State House of Assembly . I was insulted by some fans of Governor Obaseki , and l equally read some amusing junks of legal opinion by some lawyers defending the enthronement of dictatorship in the governance of Edo State. In all these,the fans of Godwin Obaseki and some of the proponents of junk legal opinion should ask themselves whether in their sincere conscience they are supporting Democratic governance or mob administration in Edo State.
When was the proclamation Order issued by Governor Godwin Obaseki for the midnight inauguration of Edo State House of Assembly on Monday-Night, 17th June, 2019?Can a proclamation Order be issued in secrecy? Is the inauguration of the State House Assembly not a big State official ceremony that should be announced and attract the attendance of family and friends of elected members ?
I have severally questioned the integrity of Governor Obaseki and l have repeatedly maintained that Governor Godwin Obaseki of Edo State will at any time fail Audit and Transparency test. This is another example of transparency failure and the consistent refusal of a Godwin Obaseki to be accountable to the people of Edo State.The claim to performance without transparency and accountability is a fake.
The midnight "inauguration"of Edo State House of Assembly is a desperation taken too far and a clear evidence that we have in Edo State a governor who has come to Edo State for his personal interest , not for the interest of the people of Edo State.The immoral, disgraceful and illegal act must be condemned , resisted and defeated by the collective Will of Edo people, not for the sake of the elected members ,but for the fact that the parliament of Edo State is not the property of Governor Godwin Obaseki , nor the property of All Progressives Congress,(APC), but an important institution collectively owned by Edo people and must be collectively protected by all reasonable people of Edo State.
