Gov Masari Commended for N2 billion Katsina Traders Loan

Governor of Katsina State, Rt. Hon. Aminu Bello Masari has been commended by an official of the Nigeria Association of Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture NACCIMA, Alhaji Salisu Mamman Kadandani, on his government's efforts at availing N2billion soft loan to boost trading activities across the State.
Katsina Media and Publicity reports that this disclosure was made by Kadandani, while delivering his address of welcome, at the inauguration of the new state executives of the Traders Association of the state
He said the money was injected into the trading activities and promotion of production of local content and enhancement of business activities.
He added that the amount would help in recovering the sub-national economy of
the state saying "we commend Katsina State on regular payment of salaries and other workers entitlements including pension and gratuity of retired civil servants.
He lauded the efforts of the State Governor on encouraging indigenous businessmen by leasing the popular Katsina Shopping Mall and Dubai Market, stressing that singular action would further boost the socio-economic development of the state.
Mamman added that the association has noted with glee the erection of commercial infrastructural facilities located in various parts of the state.
Salisu Mamman also appreciated the State Government's gesture in sponsoring ten traders to attend the popular China Canton Fair scheduled to hold between 14th Oct and 5th Nov 2018.
A resource person at the event, Aminu Gambarawa, commended Gov. Masari for reinstating 2,138 workers who were disengaged from the service by the past administration
@katgovmedia reports that Gambarawa added that the administration has engaged 5,000 unemployed youths into its newly-introduced S-Power programme and recruited 3400 casual workers that would add to the strength of existing staff.
He noted that an additional 613 health workers had been recruited to promote the health sector, stressing this would further compliment government efforts in achieving economic prosperity, and further commended the government for the training of thousands of youths on vocational skills.
