Minority Leader of the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Ndudi Elumelu, has called on teeming members and supporters of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Delta State to come out in their numbers and join the Party’s Vice-presidential candidate and Governor of the State, Sen. Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa  to accord the Presidential Candidate of the Party, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar,  the Party’s  National Chairman, Dr Iyorchia Ayu and all members of the PDP Presidential Campaign Council, a rousing reception in Delta State.


Elumelu’s call is heralding the Presidential Campaign Rally in Delta State scheduled to hold tomorrow, Tuesday, January 24, 2023 in Asaba, Delta State Capital.

The Minority Leader in a Statement on Monday January 23, 2023, said arrangement has been put in place by the State Governor and the State in general to give the PDP Presidential Candidate, Atiku Abubakar and members of the Campaign Council an outstanding reception in the State.

Elumelu, who represents Aniocha/ Oshimili Federal Constituency, Delta State noted that Delta State remains the home of PDP adding that the PDP will sweep the votes to a resounding victory in the Presidential, National Assembly, Governorship and House of Assembly elections.

He stated that the people of Delta State are massively behind the PDP, adding that they will come out enmasse to shower love to Atiku Abubakar and affirm the fact that Delta State is the home to the PDP.

“As we look forward to hosting the Presidential Candidate of our great Party, His Excellency Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, the National Chairman, members of the various organs of the party as well as the PDP National Campaign Council in Delta State, I urge the teeming supporters of PDP in our dear State to come our enmasse on Tuesday January 24, 2023, to join our Vice Presidential  Candidate and performing Governor of Delta State, His Excellency, Sen. Dr. Ifeanyinachukwu Arthur Okowa, to accord our party leaders an exceptionally rousing welcome.

“Delta State is a stronghold of the PDP. Tomorrow by the grace and mercy of God, the people of the State will come out in their large numbers to demonstrate to the whole world that they are ready with the PDP in the mission to rescue Nigeria from the maladministration of the insensitive APC, and return our country on the path of peace, stability, security, justice and prosperity for all.”

The Minority Leader stressed that Governor Okowa has put in place excellent measures for a hitch- free outing for the PDP in the State and called on all supporters from the three Senatorial districts of the State, to ensure that nothing prevents them from coming out in large numbers, to show love to Atiku Abubakar, Okowa and the PDP, as they campaign in Delta State.

He informed that the PDP Presidential Campaign rally, which will be held at the Stephen Keshi International Stadium, Asaba, will commence by 10 am on Tuesday January 24, 2023.

GOs Protest Fraudulent Election Results in Bayelsa
