The Atiku Abubakar 2023 presidential bid is recording new strides in his home state, Adamawa, as Ambassador Ibrahim Bashir, the Director of Administration in the Peoples Democratic Party Presidential Campaign Organization takes the  campaign to the grassroots in Michika Local Government Council.

Michika with 16 wards is rated the LG Council with the largest number of wards in Nigeria and also a stronghold of the PDP in Adamawa State.

Ambassador Ibrahim Bashir met with the entire Michika Local Government leadership of the party, the sixteen Ward heads, Women Wing, Youth Wing and some Atiku diehard elders seeking their support.
He informed the people that the  Ward heads will take the Atiku/Okowa Presidential Campaign to a total of 245 polling units. Each Unit leader is to work with 50 party faithful which will translate to 12,250 canvassers.
He assured them of a better government in Nigeria with Atiku Abubakar emerging as president with Ifeanyi Okowa as vice president, and reminded them to get their PVC's for voting at the general elections.

Personalities present at the campaign included Emmanuel Fugus, Elder Salihu Gogura PDP Chairman Michika LG,  and Hon. Dan Biyu Bulus, the Local Government Campaign Coordinator  and  party stakeholders.
