Edo Governor @ 63: PDP Governors Send Congratulatory Message

The PDP Governors’ Forum under the leadership of Rt. Hon. Aminu Waziri Tambuwal of Sokoto State  together with his colleagues, have congratulated Gov. Godwin Obaseki of Edo State on his 63rd birthday.

This and more were contained in a press statement signed on behalf of the forum by the 
Director-General, Hon. C.I.D. Maduabum.

PDP GOVERNORS FORUM FECILITATES WITH GOV. OBASEKI AT 63.

The PDP Governors’ Forum under the leadership of His Excellency, Rt. Hon Aminu Waziri Tambuwal, CFR, together with his colleagues, felicitates with His Excellency, Godwin Obaseki, Governor of Edo State on his 63rd birthday.

2. Your birthday this year is particularly important coming on the heels of your emergence as the consensus PDP Governorship candidate for the imminent Edo State governorship election.

3. As you face the Edo State electorate, we ask God to guide and guard your activities. To give you the wisdom, strength and good health required to face the battle for the soul of Edo State.

4. We ask you to continue to work and embrace all the people of Edo State, particularly the downtrodden and the vulnerable. We admire the job you have done in Edo State in your current term which informed the high level of confidence reposed in you by the PDP and the people of Edo State. 

5. We pray that God will lead you to do even better in your second term, in terms of achievements already recorded in the provision of infrastructure, healthcare, education, rapid economic development, social development initiatives like your determined onslaught on the human trafficking cartel and human capital development, sustained improvement on ease of doing business, incorporation of technology in running the affairs of government, deepening of cultural and sporting infrastructure and generally repositioning Edo State as a modern well governed progressive State.

6. We wish to use this opportunity to convey the solidarity of all your colleagues in the Forum and to assure you of their support in the forth-coming election in Edo State.

PDP Govs Forum Congratulates Members Over Colourful Outing at Tribune Platinum Awards

The PDP Governors Forum has congratulated its member-Governors who were honoured Tuesday at the MUSON Centre, Lagos during the Tribune’s Platinum Awards Ceremony. The PDP Governors Forum has condoled with the Governor of Akwa Ibom State, Deacon Udom Emmanuel, the government and people of the state, on the death of their foremost son, elder statesman and former Secretary of the Federation (SGF), Obong Ufot Ekaette, who will be laid to mother earth this weekend.
