Rt. Hon. Chief. Kwamoti B Laori (MHR) Commissions Multi-Purpose Hall in Borrong, Demsa LGA.

In a well attended ceremony, the member representing Demsa/Numan/Lamurde Federal Constituency commissions a Multi-Purpose Hall named after Wazirin Mbula of blessed memory, *Chief John Eddy Manassa.*

In his remark, the Law maker paid tribute to the late Wazirin Mbula for the efforts he made to unite the people and prayed that the Hall continue to serve as symbol of unity, consensus and peace building for the people of the area.

He recalled that, it was in a town hall meeting at the Prince Medan Teneke Hall he constructed in Demsa that some constituents requested for the Block of classrooms he constructed at Lasala, Gwamba Ward; the J J Fwa Examination Hall in Mbula Ward, and the John Eddy Manassa Hall being commissioned in Borrong today.

He therefore encouraged constituents to continue to approach him with constructive criticisms and ideas that would advance the lot of the people of his constituency assuring them of his listening ears at all times.

Besides human capital development strides that affects constituents across the entire polling units in his constituency, the law maker has implemented various infrastructure projects in education, health, power, water supply and other critical sectors in almost 90% of the 30 Wards that constitute Demsa/Numan/Lamurde Federal Constituency; in Demsa LGA, only Dilli Ward remains to be touched.

In her remarks shortly before commissioning the Multi-Purpose Hall, HE, Prof. Kaletapwa George Farauta, the Deputy Governor of Adamawa State applauded the Law maker for bridging infrastructure gaps in his constituency, appealed that the facility be maintained and used to host meetings, workshops, wedding reception and other important social gatherings in the area.

The event was graced by the Member representing Demsa and Majority Leader, Adamawa State House of Assembly, Hon. Kate Mamuno, Hon. Pwamwakaino Makondo, the Chairmen of Numan, Demsa and Lamurde LGAs, Hon. Hardly Dilli, Barr. John Tunor, Hon. Happy Maxwell, Barr Leader Teneke, Hon. Elkanah Kados, Hon. A.A Sadat, Hon. Satina, Chief Niwesa George, Dr. Ben Direi, Hon. Malena John Manassa, and a host of political associates and stakeholders too numerous to mention.

Highlights of the event includes a parade of traditional dancers from various communities of Mbula Chiefdom. Horse riders and lots of presentations in songs and poems.

The Murum Mbula, who received the VIPs in his palace was represented at the event by Chief Lawsom Gadiel, the District Head of Borrong.
