Banigo Felicitates With Hon Justice Wike On Her Birthday

 Rivers State Deputy Governor, Dr. (Mrs) Ipalibo Harry Banigo has felicitated with Hon. Justice Eberechi Suzzette Nyesom Wike, wife of the State Chief Executive, Nyesom Ezenwo Wike as she celebrates her birthday on Monday, 24th May 2021.

 


In a goodwill message from the Government House in Port Harcourt Dr. Banigo, described Hon. Justice Wike as an erudite and compassionate Judge who has continued to be an exponent of positive behavioural change in the lives of youths across the State, with her “Riv-Ethics” programme on radio.

 

According to the Deputy Governor, Hon. Justice Wike  is not only an epitome of beauty and Grace  but  a devoted Mother of the State  whose contribution to the success story of the Governor Wike led Administration is beyond measure.

 

Dr. Banigo prayed the Almighty God to continue to bless, guide, protect and keep the Wife of the Governor in good health.

GOs Protest Fraudulent Election Results in Bayelsa

Posted By Tony Okechukwu Members of various non-governmental organisations and civil society groups in Bayelsa State, on Wednesday, staged a peaceful protest over the conduct of the Presidential and National Assembly elections in some parts of the state. Comrade Toitoi Newton of the Grassroots For Development, who led the protest to the Independent National Electoral Commission office in Yenagoa, told journalists that the CSOs demand a cancellation of the purported results from Constituency 4 in Southern Ijaw council and Nembe-Bassambiri in Nembe council where election materials were carted away. According to Comrade Newton, elections did not hold in the seven wards of Nembe-Bassambiri due to the violence orchestrated by political thugs aided by security personnel deployed in the community.
