The Peoples Democratic Party Governors’ Forum (PDP-GF) under the Chairmanship of Rt. Hon. Aminu Waziri Tambuwal CFR, the Governor of Sokoto State has felicitated with its brother-Governor, Professor Benedict Bengioushuye Ayade as he clocks 53 today - March 2, 2021.

 


In a press statement signed on behalf of the Forum by Hon. C.I.D. Maduabum, LL.M, the Forum’s Director General, the Governors joined his family, friends and well - wishers to give gratitude to Almighty God for a life of good health, divine protection and exemplary leadership as Governor particularly with his vision for improved well-being of citizens of Cross River state and Nigerians at large.

The Peoples Democratic Party Governors’ Forum (PDP-GF) under the Chairmanship of Rt. Hon. Aminu Waziri Tambuwal CFR, the Governor of Sokoto State is pleased to felicitate with you as you celebrate your 53rd birthday anniversary today (March 2, 2021).

 

2. We join your family, friends and well - wishers to give gratitude to Almighty God for a life of good health, divine protection and exemplary leadership as Governor particularly your vision for improved wellbeing of citizens of Cross River state and Nigerians at large.

 

3. We are proud of your sterling performances so far as Governor of Cross River State in healthcare provision especially your innovative COVID-19 initiatives, mechanisation of agriculture, unique feats in industrialization, security, education and social infrastructure provision.

 

4. We are confident that your legacies in office as Governor will live memorably in the minds and hearts of citizens of Cross River state and other Nigerians you have touched with your services. We are confident your best is yet to come.    

5. The Forum acknowledges your outstanding contributions to its continued progress, brotherly love amongst our Governors and our engagement with the myriad challenges and problems especially insecurity facing the country at this time.

GOs Protest Fraudulent Election Results in Bayelsa

Posted By Tony Okechukwu Members of various non-governmental organisations and civil society groups in Bayelsa State, on Wednesday, staged a peaceful protest over the conduct of the Presidential and National Assembly elections in some parts of the state. Comrade Toitoi Newton of the Grassroots For Development, who led the protest to the Independent National Electoral Commission office in Yenagoa, told journalists that the CSOs demand a cancellation of the purported results from Constituency 4 in Southern Ijaw council and Nembe-Bassambiri in Nembe council where election materials were carted away.
