President Buhari Revalidation His Membership With APC As He Flags-Off Nationwide Membership Registration Registration And Revalidation Exercise Of The Party

  President Muhammadu Buhari has revalidated his Membership with the ruling Party the All Progressives Congress APC.  President Buhari revalidated his membership at his home town in Sarkin Yara 'A' of Daura local government in Katsina State when he flagged-off the Nationwide Registration and Revalidation exercise of the Party.  The exercise was conducted under the supervision of the Ward Caretaker Chairman Aliyu Mamman and Secretary Sani Ali among others.  The President enjoined the old members that need to revalidate their membership and  intending members that will register to comply with the guidelines provided by the Committee so as to ensure a peacefully exercise.  The National Registration and Revalidation Committee Chairman Governor Abubakar Sani Bello and other members of the Committee, the APC Caretaker/Extraordinary Convention Planning Committee, Governor Mai Mala Buni of Yobe State were also in Daura to ensure compliance with the guidelines for the exercise.  The Sen

Gov Diri Constitutes Committee On NDU ASUU, HIJAC Demands

Bayelsa State Governor, Senator Douye Diri, has set up a special committee to look into the demands of the Association of Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU), Niger Delta University (NDU) chapter as well as that of the Higher Institutions Joint Action Committee  (HIJAC) in the state in order to address them. Senator Diri, who inaugurated the committee on Friday in Government House, Yenagoa, when he met separately with both bodies, expressed his administration's preparedness to ensure peaceful resolution of the welfare issues affecting staff of the state-owned higher institutions. In a press release by his Chief Press Secretary, Mr Daniel Alabrah, the governor was quoted as mandating members of the committee to look into their demands and submit its report within two weeks. Violators To Pay 5 Thousand Naira Fine Governor Abubakar Sani Bello has directed the Commissioner for Justice and Attorney General of the State to prepare an executive order for the enforcement of compulsory use of face Mask in the State following the surge in the number of COVID-19 confirmed cases in the State.  The directive followed the wholistic briefing of the activities of the State COVID-19 Committee to the Governor, as well as the current situation of the dreaded pandemic in the State.  Governor Sani Bello who said the order will take effect from Monday the 1st of February, 2021, noted that lockdown is not an option for now considering the economy hardship however, the use of face mask will be made compulsory and mobile courts will be established for the prosecution of violators which will include a fine of five thousand naira.  The Governor also directed that only essential workers should be allowed entrance in to Government House and other Public offices as determined by

APC Inaugurates States Party Registration And Zonal Monitoring Committed

  The All Progressives Congress (APC) has inaugurated the 36 States' Membership Registration and Revalidation Committees and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT). The APC Caretaker/Extraordinary Convention Planning Committee (CECPC) Chairman and Governor of Yobe State, Mai Mala Buni who was represented by Chairman, National Membership Registration/Revalidation Committee of the Party, Governor Abubakar Sani Bello of Niger State inaugurated the committees along with the Zonal Monitoring Committees in Abuja.
