Fintiri Receives 21 Local Council Chairmen on Solidarity Visit


Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri Monday received in audience, the 21 local government council chairmen on a solidarity visit in the Conference Hall Government House, Yola.

The Governor charged them to prioritize the welfare youths as his administration will give more priority to youths across the state in 2021.


He commended the local council chairmen for ensuring that the recent upsurge by some hoodlums in the state did not escalate to local government areas, noting that they have done their best in that regard.


He challenged them to take full charge of their areas and improve the living conditions of youths to enable them realise and regret their actions and inactions in the recent unfortunate incident.

The local government council chairmen was led to the government house, Yola by the Chairman of ALGON, Alhaji Jingi Rufai who salutes Fintiri for demonstrating leadership during the recent upsurge.
