The governorship candidate of the PDP in Osun guber polls,Senator Ademola Adeleke has served Gboyega Oyetola and his party ,the APC,through substituted service on the court's notice board.

The substituted service is ruffling feathers in Osun Government House as the PDP legal team appears to have nipped in the bud any further delay tactic on the part of APC.

The development followed the refusal of Oyetola and the APC to accept court service after the PDP and her candidate had filed their case seeking to nullify the declaration of Oyetola as the Governor-Elect of Osun state.

The PDP then approached the court Monday to seek approval for substituted service which was granted  by the newly constituted electoral tribunal panel.

According to the Counsel to Ademola Adeleke and the PDP,"we tendered some applications which were granted. The applications granted are permission to serve the respondents through substituted method I.e through the court's notice board.

"Permission for our statisticians, forensic experts to inspect, examine and photocopy the ballot papers used on 22nd and 27th of September. All the above were granted",the counsel said.

Immediately after the proceeding ,the legal team of the PDP proceeded to effect the service as ordered by the court.

PDP had accused the APC and her candidate of employing delay tactics ,declaring her readiness to prosecute the case and retrieve the stolen mandate.
