Wife of Bayelsa State Governor, Mrs Gloria Diri, has described as divine timing of God the emergence of her husband, Senator Douye Diri, as governor of the state. Mrs Diri spoke at the Special Praise Service in honour of the governor's 61st birthday at the King of Glory Chapel, Government House, Yenagoa. The governor's wife described Senator Diri as a man blessed with great ability to do exploits even in the midst of his busy activities, stating that his strength is always renewed by God's grace to achieve his targets. She prayed for God's wisdom, understanding and power to enable him break new grounds in the state. Her words: "(His coming was) not by his power nor by his might. This is a man that never takes medication. Every day and every night he works hard. I want to say that his strength will continue to be renewed like that of the Eagle."
