PDP Campaign Rally: Elumelu Officially Receives Flag

 Minority Leader of the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Ndudi Elumelu on Thursday December 29, 2022 was formally presented with the flag of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) as the Party Flag-bearer for House of Representatives, Aniocha/Oshimili Federal Constituency in the 2023 general elections.



Elumelu was presented with the flag by the State Chairman of the PDP, Delta State, Olorogun Kingsley Esiso at the Party's Local Government Area Campaign rally held at Oshimili North and South Local Government Areas of the State.

The campaign rally with massive gathering of Party faithful at Akwukwu-Igbo and Asaba, had the Governor of the State and Vice Presidential Candidate of the PDP, Senator Dr Ifeanyi Okowa, Speaker of the State House of Assembly and Governorship Candidate of the Party in the State, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, and the Deputy Governorship Candidate, Chief Monday Onyeme, in attendance.
Also at the colourful campaign rally which had Chief Nkem Okwuofu, (Permanent Mother of Government) and other notable leaders of the party in the State present, was the Delta North Senatorial Candidate of the Party, Hon. Prince Ned Nwoko,  House of Assembly Candidates for Oshimili North and Oshimili South State Constituencies, Barrister Frank Esenwa and Barrister Bridget Anyafulu who were also presented with the party flags.









The crowd was massive; the love for the PDP was glaring.

GOs Protest Fraudulent Election Results in Bayelsa

Posted By Tony Okechukwu Members of various non-governmental organisations and civil society groups in Bayelsa State, on Wednesday, staged a peaceful protest over the conduct of the Presidential and National Assembly elections in some parts of the state. Comrade Toitoi Newton of the Grassroots For Development, who led the protest to the Independent National Electoral Commission office in Yenagoa, told journalists that the CSOs demand a cancellation of the purported results from Constituency 4 in Southern Ijaw council and Nembe-Bassambiri in Nembe council where election materials were carted away.
