Hon. Ndudi Elumelu chairman of the occasion in his opening remarks commend the National Working Committee for their support towards the success of the event.

Ndudi emphasize the need to combine the energy, dynamism, agility and creativity of youth with the competencies, experience, skills, knowledge and wisdom of the older generation to achieve a united, stable, productive and prosperous nation with a secure future for generations yet unborn.

He also said the theme of the event “Intergenerational Synergy in Governance” is apt at this moment given the need for stronger synergy between the younger and the older generation in political leadership and governance.

He also assured that Alhaji Atiku Abubakar will never sit back in Aso Rock and watch helplessly while our youth suffer the type of disparagement, abuse, humiliation, neglect and brutality that we have witnessed in the last seven years under the APC.

"you youths must remain united and position yourselves for political leadership and governance through greater participation in political process and learning from the older generation of leaders".
