We Must Continue To Encourage Women To Break The Bias And Make A Difference In The World- Dr. Banigo

  The Deputy Governor of Rivers State, Dr (Mrs) Ipalibo Harry Banigo says she would continue to encourage women to break the bias and make a difference in the world.

Dr. Banigo stated this  through her Special Assistant on Research, Mrs Uki Asemota-Osifo while receiving a Trailblazing Award by the Association of Professional Women Engineers of Nigeria(APWEN) on Friday 11th March, 2022 in Port Harcourt.

Dr Banigo who expressed delight for the honour bestowed on  her, promised to encourage women to break the bias and make a difference in the world because every woman was created to impact her world.

" In order to break the bias, women have to start by looking within themselves and creating positive change they want to see, by being people of integrity and excellence." She Stated.

The President of APWEN Engr. Dr. Elizabeth  Eterigho in her Remarks, commended the Deputy Governor, for being one of the women who have blazed the trail for Women nationally as the first female Deputy Governor of Rivers State.

She described Dr.Banigo as a seasoned medical doctor and administrator and  further praised Governor Wike for assisting women to break the bias and for also choosing a woman of inestimable value as his Deputy and ensuring that the Vice Chairpersons of the 23 LGAS in the A tate are women.
